What is a BCBA?

The role of the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is critical in the treatment or management of behavioral, emotional, and developmental disorders. BCBA certification is one of the highest levels of achievement and is second only to a BCBA-d, which is a doctoral level certification.

What is a BCaBA?

The Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is an undergraduate-level certification in behavior analysis. Professionals certified at the BCaBA level provide behavior-analytic services under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

What is an RBT?

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of a BCBA or Behaviorist, who are responsible for all work RBTs perform.
